The year is 1356 and Lady Anne D'Auberon is a very determined woman with no patience. A prospective husband is negotiating with her father for her hand in marriage. But Anne feels the two of them are taking much too long to work out all the details. She wants to get everything settled and get on with her life with the man of her desires.

With some expert advice from her married sister, she sneaks into Lord Richard Hartwell's bedchamber in a plot to compromise them both and force the marriage. Using the darkness to hide her identity, Anne ventures into the unexplored world of sensual delights.

The writer takes us through those first explosive sensations of erotic discovery. The words literally steam off the pages and make the hairs on your arms stand up. Even though this is a short story, you find Anne and Richard's journey a very satisfying read.
