"Erotica Contemporary - short story that has a cure for HOT FLASHES"
Nita Franklin, a hard-working reporter, has trouble
sleeping: not from hot flashes but because of the erotic
dreams she has been having. As a 48-year-old sensual
woman, having her sleep distrubed by a sexy man is becoming
frustrating. Her dream lover is so intoxicating, he begins
to infringe on her waking hours. While daydreaming about this unbelievable stud, he is
suddenly on the phone with a familiar voice asking for her
assistance. Martin Hawley, a man who is handsome and
wealthy, has a daughter, Melinda, who has been
kidnapped. Can Nita use her talents to find his daughter? This story is written in the first person with very
scorching descriptions of sexual play. The characters are
believable, especially Nita, who appears to leap off the
pages with her confidence and throbbing desire. I very
much liked reading about someone who is more mature but
still very passionate about life and love. Martin came
across as a perfect mate for Nita. Thanks, Kate, for
reminding us that we should play our hunches and take some
chances in life. Rated Hard R by the publisher.
