Magician Drake Conover finds himself not enjoying the sexual debauchery he participates in as much as usual -- maybe not at all. Little does he know that Erienne Duval, CIA operative, is setting up surveillance of him. Hard as it was to believe, Drake is suspected of being a spy. Staying close to him to discover the truth won't be a chore at all.

This story was more coarse than I like. This is definitely an erotic read. I didn't feel like there was any real romance in this story and very little love, just sex. I did appreciate the attention paid to sexual protection. The last part of the story is suspenseful and intriguing. Made you wish it was longer.

Commitment

Gaelen and Brent have been together, sort of, for five years. They've been having an affair, but never encroached on each other's "private" space. They've never been to each other's homes. Now Brent wants to spend their vacation at his house. Gaelen agrees, but under protest. She has no desire for a permanent commitment. Brent has discovered recently that he does and he plans on using everything he's got to get Gaelen to change her mind -- and what he's got ain't nothing to sneeze at!

Even though I really prefer the commitment-reluctant hero over the reluctant heroine, I enjoyed the way this one was handled. I admit it bothered me a bit that the main characters had so much in common, liked so many of the same things. Yet the story is longer on plot than the first one and you get to know the characters better. Still very erotic, but the attention paid to the story line made this more to my liking.
