"Heartwarming time travel"
Kane Edmonds lives in a time of a deadly disease, more
lethal than any other disease in the history of mankind. BV-
5 is stoppable only with the Kabitross plant, a plant that
is extinct in her time. Holding the lives of mankind in
her hands, Kane agrees to go back in time to 1776 and find
the Kabitross plant. Arriving in a strange land in a strange time, she relies on
her implanted knowledge of the 18th, 19th, and 20th
centuries to see her through. She was determined to find
the Kabitross plant and save her people, no matter what. When she meets George Wyndom, she finds a man whom not only
can she trust with her life and the lives of those in 2429,
but also with her heart. Falling in love was the last thing
she planned, but the heart sometimes does as it wills. Together, they are determined to not only find the plant,
but also find a way for Kane to stay with George for all
time. BEFORE THE FIRE is a heart warming and oftentimes humorous
journey into the past. Jaid Black, writing as Tia
Isabella, weaves an intricate storyline, where the
secondary characters have their own minor stories to tell
that only enhance the love story between George and Kane. Rated: Hard R by the publisher.

SummaryThe inhabitants of 25th century earth are dying. A deadly
brain virus is taking a large death toll and it is up to
one scientist to stop it. The problem for Dr. Kane Edmonds
is that the one form of plant-life she believes is
necessary for a cure has long been extinct, dwelling
nowhere else within the solar systems except the earth's
past. Kane plans for every contingency when she agrees to
travel through time to hunt down the life-saving plant.
Every contingency, that is, except for falling in love.
When Kane meets George Wyndom, the dark and formidable Earl
of Blackmore, she wonders if she'll ever be able to let him
go. What Kane doesn't understand is that she has no say in
the matter, for the handsome earl is determined to keep
her.
