"Born to feel"
Sean Cullen was born to feel the anger of his father and
watch his mother deal with the way he defiled her and beat
her. His love for his mother made him stay with her. As a
child he fell in love with Bronwyn McGregor, who had been
part of his school life. Bronwyn's parents never felt Sean
was good enough for their daughter. They knew the young
couple were in love but they would do everything they could
to keep them apart. They felt that Sean came from a
unfavorable background and would never amount to anything. During a terrible fight, Sean's mother killed his father.
It was self-defense but because she didn't have the money
for a lawyer, she allowed the judge to decide her fate
rather than have a trial by jury. She was convicted and
sent to the state mental hospital where she later died.
During her time in jail, Sean learned that the man he
thought was his father actually was not. His birth father
arrived to take Sean to Scotland to live with him, and
there he filled Sean in with the true events of his birth
and how his life was about to change. It was at this time
that Sean learned that he was not a true human being but a
reaper. When Sean learned about his past, his present, and what he
would become in his future, he was in shock and realized
that he was going to have to live a life of solitude.
Little did he know that Bronwyn was there too, going to
school and being kept prisoner at a private Catholic school
for girls. Bronwyn's life was not happy throughout these
times and she was treated badly by some of the nuns. I could go on for paragraphs telling excepts from this book
but I don't want to spoil it for you. The story is full of
incidents that happen during Bronwyn's and Sean's lives
up to the point where they meet again in a facility back in
Iowa. There they reunite their lives, go through many
challenges before they end up in each other arms. So many
things happen from beginning to end that keep this book
incredibly interesting. I highly recommend this book for
one who truly enjoys an exciting story.
