REVIEW

"Sexy, heartwarming story filled with love and laughter"

While they were growing up, Casey Hudson always tried to be there for the troubled, wild Emma Clark, all the while Emma always tried to get him into bed. It took all of Casey's willpower to turn down her advances and just be her friend. Then one night Emma ran away from the town and from Casey to start a new life away from her troubled upbringing.

Eight years later she returns to Buckhorn, Kentucky, and runs into Casey. Can Casey get over his resentment of how she ran off without saying good-bye even while admitting that he still wants her in his life? Emma isn't sure she is welcome in town and she has no idea how to deal with the grown-up, sexy Casey who is now pursuing her!

Lori Foster is a wonderful author who is a sure bet when you want to read a super sexy, heartwarming story filled with love, laughter and wonderfully developed characters. Casey is the final book in the Buckhorn Brothers series and it was well worth the long wait to read this book. The love scenes were hot, the hero was sexy and caring, and the heroine matured into a strong women who was able to stand up for herself and wasn't apologetic or ashamed of enjoying sex now or in her youth. It isn't often that I see that type of heroine in a romance book and it was refreshing. For those readers who have enjoyed the previous books in the series, this book will make a nice, satisfying ending. For new readers, this book will easily stand alone and make you want to run out and find all the books in the series so you can see what you have missed.
