"There are times when good things can come from bad."
Beatrice Shelton has been abused and almost raped. The key
word is "almost", but it makes no difference to her father,
who considers her a fallen woman. This is the straw that
broke the camel's back and sends Beatrice running away from
home into the snow. Which is how she ends up in the path of
Sir Harold Boyd, on his way to Montvale House for a visit.
Finding a woman almost frozen arouses the hero in Harold --
it also arouses something else, which he finds very
difficult to keep under control. Control it he will,
though, because he finds himself with feelings for this
woman like none he's ever experienced. I found this to be a satisfactory story with some very
hot, sensual sex scenes, but also a itty, bitty bit of good
plot. I really liked this hero. I was a bit disappointed in
the way the hero choose to warm up the heroine. Guess I've
read too many stories with that particular plot twist. It
also rather bothered me that once again you have a mean and
evil father, who just happens to also be a Vicar. Yet I
am still eager to read the next in the series. These
stories are the type where you can't read just one! Sensuality--NC17. Masturbation; oral sex; crude language;
descriptive sex; sex toys; consensual spanking and bondage.
Monogamous relationship. Sexually explicit scenes: 2.

SummaryTales of the Beau Monde - Book II (short story)
Harry Boyd, Earl of Dunsmere, is a Corinthian, Rake and
highly regarded lover, known for his hot lust rather than
his warm heart. Rescuing a damsel in distress is quite out
of character for the earl. But then again, Harry is about
to learn that nothing is ordinary about Miss Beatrice...
Rated NC-17 by Ellora's Cave.
