This is the second novella in Foster's trilogy about three girlfriends who make a pact to meet men who will indulge in their secret fantasies with them. It's virginal Becky Harte's turn to visit the adult sex shop across the street from where they all work. While there, she is mortified to bump into George Westin, the gorgeous coworker she's been fantasizing about for two years. Becky's fantasy involves bondage -- because she needs to be in control, to know that a man could not see her or touch her, could not find out her embarrassing secret. But when she and George view a clip of a bondage film at the sex shop, they don't realize they have a bit of miscommunication -- George thinks that she want him to tie her down, not vice versa. He agrees to "indulge" her, and they don't discover their misunderstanding until Becky blindfolds him and handcuffs him to her bed, and he is not happy with the situation at all.

Hoo-eee, the conversations between this hero and heroine sent my internal thermostat into the red. Becky tries very hard to hide her innocence and lack of sexual knowledge from the very experienced George, but she really does want to satisfy her curiosity -- about "size", sex toys, and just what were some of those items in the sex shop anyway. And the mild bondage scenes are an incredible turn-on. I can't wait for the third story.

Now Gabe wants to make up for the six years apart, and wants to make Chloe his. Chloe just wants revenge for the way he left her and made her feel rejected. So their private bet on a poker game involves a lot more than just the chips on the table. Chloe wins her fantasy: "For the next four nights you're mine, to do with as I please. I want you as my sexual slave, willing and eager to attend to my every whim and fulfill all my erotic desires." But will their relationship be over after those four nights?

Gabe understands Chloe's need to be in control and to feel she's getting some 'payback' for the way he left her before. He has difficulty overcoming his feeling that he wasn't good enough for her, that without the money and fame of being a pro football star, he was just the poor kid from the bad part of town who had nothing to offer a girl like her. Chloe learns a lot about who Gabe really is, as they play out all her fantasies. There are great sex scenes, but it isn't just the action that makes this such a sensual read, it's the completely frank sexual dialogue between the hero and heroine. Neither one of them hesitates to verbalize exactly what they want from the other, at least sexually. Admitting their emotional needs is much harder for them.

He just wants to find a wanton and willing woman to keep him entertained during his stay.
