"One hot hero!"

Spark MacIntyre had given up modeling and his Aunt Caressa knew it. He works with pyrotechnics now, which suits him just fine. After all, he is a Keeper of the Flame. Zanya is the photographer for "Brazen Heart". After meeting Spark in the elevator, she is more than eager to start her assignment. However when Spark discovers who she is, he is not all that enthused. He knows it will be difficult working with her, when he wants her so desperately. So he determines that his lifetime of celibacy will come to an end -- with Zanya, for he is certain she is "the one", his perfect mate. Things are moving along relationship-wise quite nicely for Spark and Zanya, until bigotry rears it's ugly head -- and it comes from an unexpected and hurtful source.

Oh, man, here is definitely a hero to die for. I really liked Spark's looks and his personality. Zanya was very likable, also. The love scenes depicted were exquisite. I like the family interaction in this story, especially the inclusion of Spark's parents, Flame and Kendell. This book has humor, as well as class. I don't usually care that much for bondage scenes, especially with a dominant male, but these were good. It is not really necessary to read the first story in the series (KEEPER OF THE FLAME: Flame and Kendall's story), but I think it adds to the enjoyment of this one. I am certainly looking forward to Ember's story.
