When Zach Letterman decides to change careers and become a P.I. like his new found relatives, they send him to Houston on his first case, to help Clayborn Investigations track down a missing antique wedding dress.

Mariah Clayborn is not having a good day. The roof is leaking, her cousin and partner, George is late again as usual, and to top it all off she has just learned that yet another of her ex-boyfriends has gotten engaged to another woman within a week of breaking up with her. Now, another detective agency wants her to work with their investigator in the search for the missing wedding dress.

When Zach arrives, Mariah is attracted to him, but it doesn't take her long to realize that this man is a greenhorn when it comes to the P.I. business! But she can bet he knows what it takes for a woman to attract a man, so she propositions him. She will teach him the ropes of the investigations business, if he will teach her how to be the kind of woman that a man desires.

As Zach and Mariah encounter unexpected dangers in their investigation, they begin to teach each other everything they know, and then some!

This book is a Blaze, and a Carrington, so the reader knows to expect a hot, tantalizing read. Mariah and Zach are fun to watch as they catch the bad guys old west style, and give each other lessons on the side. I think Zach is the better teacher of the two, which leads to some steamy classes in night school!
