"Gem of a Story with Hot Sex and a Poignant Romance"

Miranda Montvale is in trouble. A widow, she is in danger of losing her home if she doesn't find a true mountain of money to pay her creditors. Her only hope is to take up The Barb's bet -- a legend in the ton, indeed.

The Barb is Nicholas Barbour, and the bet is ... well... it's pretty explicitly detailed. It's been on the betting books for years now, and still women are trying to achieve the prize. Luckily, Lady Miranda has been undergoing some very sensual training to win -- and she's very, very determined.

INSIDE LADY MIRANDA is a gem of a story. With boiling hot intimate encounters and a sweet, poignant romance set against the dash and glitter of regency England, one could hardly go wrong. The characters were wonderful, and though the premise itself may be a bit less-than-believable, Kelly was deft enough at her craft that it wasn't really a problem at all. The story ends perfectly, with just enough sentimentality, and a promise of a sequel!

This reviewer will extend one word of caution, however. INSIDE LADY MIRANDA does feature a very explicit woman-with- woman sexual encounter. It is integral to the plot, but some may find themselves disturbed by it.
