"Not your typical historical"
Lord Nick Barbour is your typical bored scoundrel. In his
younger days he placed an unusual bet at Whites. It's of a
very personal nature and no one has been able to win this
bet in over six years. When Miranda Montvale's elderly husband died, he left her
deep in debt. After much thought she comes up with an
unusual way to solve her money problems. She'll win Nick's
bet and have the money she needs to save her home. I found this to be an enjoyable historical short story. It
was very sensual and a good quick read. The characters were
believable and I cared what happened to them. The story was
well written and was well worth the read. Sexual Content: NC-17 -- oral sex and lesbianism.
