"A very wild bet"
Miranda Montvate is in a financial bind. The widow of a
spendthrift who squandered his entire fortune, she must
come up with almost ten thousand pounds to keep her home,
Montvale House. To do so, she intends to win the Barb's bet
that has been on the Betting Book at Whites for over six
years. The terms of the bet are fairly simple; have sex
with Lord Nicholas Barbour, make certain that he ejaculates
inside the lady involved, and win ten thousand pounds. This is a very short story, but very well written. The time
frame is the early 1800's; the location London. The sex
between Miranda and Nicholas was steamy, and the HEA ending
fit. I enjoyed the book, and think it well worth the
download price. Rated NC-17 by Ellora's Cave.
