"Characters who capture your heart"
I fell in love with Drew Bailey, the hero of this book. He
is all a romance hero should be: tall, dark, and handsome;
a great lover; slightly dangerous. He is a wounded hero who
comes to the heroine, Charlie Giles, after spending time in
jail for a crime he did not commit. His years in jail have
left him with scars on his soul she will have to heal.
Charlie will prove him innocent of the murder of his first
wife and in the process, teach him to love again. I liked the fact the heroine was 44 years old, not a young
woman, but someone who lived her life strong enough to
defend her lover against those who would hurt him, yet able
to be vulnerable when the need arises. The sex between Drew
and Charlie is hot, hot, hot and the author writes these
scenes in graphic detail. Reading them left pleasant erotic
images in my mind. I liked the way the author starts her story by having Drew
remain hidden from Charlie yet be there to help her
whenever she needs him. That added an air of mystery to
their falling in love that gave the story an interesting
twist. I highly recommend this book. It is well-written and
presents two characters who will capture your heart and
make you care about them. Reviewed by Linda Rimmer for Sensual Romance.

SummaryFormer agent Charlotte Giles never expected to need her old
job skills once she escaped to the wilds of West Virginia
to build a horse farm. But when Charlie falls in love with
handsome Drew Bailey, she trades her own demons for his

For an ex-con who has run out of options, hiding out in
Charlie's barn seems the safest way to avoid run-ins with
local law enforcement. However, the handsome loner never
counted on staying around long enough to fall in love.
Charlie's body proves to be more addictive than freedom,
and her heart holds the key to his soul. Her love may be
his only Redemption...
