"An intense and very sexy and erotic read"

JD Mahoney the Third has had years to think about what Candy Morgan's father, Lawrence Morgan, took from him. Years to plan his revenge, and even though Lawrence is dead and gone, JD still plans to take back what was promised to him.

Candy Morgan has two choices: become a totally submissive wife to JD, or see her family loose everything it has worked for. See her family without its very livelihood. While she hates the idea of being nothing more than an object, having her every moment decided for her, Candy admits to herself that it fulfills a secret longing from years gone by, to belong to JD. From afar, she had mooned over her father protégé, and even agued with her father over his betrayal of JD. Now, years later, she finds herself submitting to him to save her family, living out some of her adolescent fantasies.

Whisked away to his private island, Candy soon finds out just how much JD intends to control. How much he plans to demand of her.

While SINS OF THE FATHER is a very sexy and erotic read, I felt that it moved a bit too fast. The byplay between Candy and JD is hot and the sex hotter, but it leaves room for more. This story is so emotional, so intense, that as a reader, I craved more and it just wasn't there.

Summary

Candy Morgan has always felt badly about the fact that her father duped and then fired his former protégée, James Douglas Mahoney III. Worse yet, she knows that JD has always believed her to be a part of the conspiracy to get rid of him. When JD comes to power during a hostile takeover of Morgan Chemicals, Candy realizes he will want revenge against her family so she prepares herself to be ousted from the company. But much to her surprise, JD doesn't oust her.
