"All I want for Christmas"
Dear Santa, I have been naughty this year, but I still think I should
get a copy of NAUGHTY AND NICE from Ellora's Cave. It has a wonderful story by MaryJanice Davidson, continuing
her werewolf saga (formerly a part of the Secrets
anthologies) with Alec, a handsome and charming Scottish
werewolf come to America to pay homage to the birth of the
pack leader's child. When he smells the delightful scent of
sidewalk Santa Giselle Smith, he knows she is the only
woman for him. Now he just has to just convince her of
that. As his passions bubble beneath the surface of his
charming personality, Alec seduces and tames his fragile
beauty. There's also The Twelve Night of Christmas by Treva
Harte, a delightful tale of star-crossed lovers. Mari
thinks she's too old for Rome, and besides, as a recently
divorced woman, she doesn't want a man in her life. Rome
thinks he is a bad lover, and to be honest his track record
leaves a lot to be desired. As the end of the year winds
down, they find that there is more than a snowstorm keeping
them together. And as if that isn't enough, there is even a humorous and
heartwarming tale called Jingle's Belle by Lani
Aames. It is the story of Jingle, an elf who feels left
out, and Belle, a woman who has lost her Christmas spirit.
Sent to show her the true meaning of Christmas, Jingle ends
up showing her what love is. So Santa, as you are checking your list, and checking it
twice, please remember that all I want for Christmas is
NAUGHTY AND NICE.
