"These are a few stories that take you off the beaten track"
The Lady and the Old Man of the Sea by Loren W.
Cooper Rescued from certain drowning by a shapeshifting Power,
Leta ends up in a safe sanctuary under the sea. So starts
the tale of the Old Man of the Sea and how he saved a city.
Is it true? You be the judge. An excellent story, more a
romance than anything else. Destiny Train by Lawrence Barker It is the height of aggressions during the Civil War. Not
quite as history records it though, because the Yanks have
called the Infernals from the Darkness to help them this
time around. One of the results are the Walking Dead,
those that miss the death train. Rile makes a promise to a
comrade that he'll never be one of them... and in the
fulfilling of it, may have just lost the war. This one is
pretty gruesome in some parts, but gives quite an
interesting twist to a war story. Keep Your Friends Close and Your Enemies Closer by
K.G. McAbee Prince Vayel was due to marry in a short while. A visit to
his old tutors, though, exposes trouble between him and his
betrothed. Magistra Cala and her mate Ronen, however, will
straighten everything out... I didn't care for this one,
but it is definitely an absorbing story. Of All Beautiful Things by L. Joseph Shosty Vietnam left Lewis feeling like he wasn't a real man
anymore. Tending bar brought him into contact with The
Lady and she gives him a gift that will change his life.
Okay, this one is really weird, but pretty neat all the
same. The Kindness Within by Jason Laseman Can letting someone die be a gift?
This one I leave to each reader to think upon. Sensuality-- No sex.
