"Spooktacular!"
While on a camping trip in the mountains, three teenagers,
Mike, Josh, and Wade come across a true-life urban legend—
vampires. After watching the attack and brutal murder of
his friends by a female vampire and her two male cohorts,
Wade becomes a sex slave to Cassandra, the head vampire.
Cassandra had been banned to a mountain lair nearby the
boys' campsite for seventy-five years for killing another
vampire. She was not allowed to have anyone but her and her
servant, Stanos, but secretly recruited two males. With the
ability to make Wade her own by hypnotizing him, Wade lives
chained to a wall in a basement dungeon by day and lives as
Cassandra's sex toy by night. Wade thinks he loves her, only because she tells him to
think it, and he watches her kill and drink blood as though
it were the normal thing to do. She planned to make him her
vampire, but the more Wade recalls the night his friends
died, and after he is forced to perform vampirism tasks to
a kidnapped girl named Sue, he is then able to block future
hypnotic episodes and starts to hate Cassandra for what she
is, and all the while, refusing to become one. Dr. Donovan Reed is a vampire, and a doctor of psychology
who treats humans as well as vampires. He is also the
husband of the vampire that Cassandra killed over fifty
years ago. After receiving news that Cassandra may have two male gets
(vampires in training), he decides to look into the strange
occurrences that have happened around the area of her
lair. When Donovan arrives, things grow rapidly out
of hand. Cassandra must destroy her gets and take care of
Wade before Donovan finds out, but at the last minute, she
reconsiders, and decides to take Wade and Donovan's fate
into her own hands. How? Why? Will Donovan find Wade and
save him from Cassandra's evil plan before it is too late?
What will Cassandra and her two vampire goons do to them?
Of course, I won't tell you, but I can assure you that you
will be pleased. Find out by getting your own copy of Linda
Suzane's DARKHOUR VAMPIRES: Volume I: Captivity today! Ms. Suzane has written a powerful paranormal novel that
keeps the reader in suspense while bringing each
fascinating character to life. As I read, I found myself
fretting over the characters' circumstances. I couldn't put
the book away until I finished that particular section of
the book. In all honesty, Ms. Suzane's writing was so vivid
that during certain suspenseful moments, I felt that I had
lost myself in the words, and began to feel as though I was
the character who was in peril. Ms. Suzane left nothing out regarding each character,
scene, or setting, and she hit the nail on the head, so to
speak, with the realistic dialogue. She managed to keep
tension throughout the book, allowing the reader to
experience fear through her words, and page after page of
entertaining reading, leaving the reader wanting more. If
you can't tell by now, I am very impressed with this book. I highly recommend DARKHOUR VAMPIRES: Volume I: Captivity
