Bounty hunter Jarla is bored and disappointed in the sex partners she has hired lately. None of them can convince her that they have the ability to master her. She'd like, just for once, not to be the one in control. Then she runs into Thallin -- literally. He is a fighter slave from the arena, and just the man she's been hunting for, in more ways than one.

An excellent 'warrior woman' story, with a strong, intelligent hero willing to let the woman be in control, and yet be in control of himself. I really liked the way this one ended.
