REVIEW

"an instant animal attraction"

When Brianna's Uncle Alexi was dying, he made her promise to visit Russia, the land of his birth. Now she finds herself in the middle of the Ural Mountains with the feeling that someone is watching her. Lost in her own thoughts, she gets separated from her tour group, loses her footing, and falls down a steep ravine. As she strikes her head and loses consciousness she hears a great howl. Some time later, she wakes to find herself in a stranger's care.

Ivan Davidovich Basileus has lived alone in the woods just outside of an isolated Russian village for most of his life. He felt a strong attraction to Brianna from the first moment he saw her. Admiring his green eyes, long dark hair, and striking intensity, Brianna feels the same pull towards him.

I found this to be an enjoyable short story. The characters were believable and the plot flowed together to the end. I only wish that this story was longer. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Sexual Content: Hard R/Borderline NC-17.
