Brianna is keeping a promise to her beloved Uncle Alexi by visiting the Ural Mountains in Russia. Hauntingly, for the past two days she has felt hunted. A fall leaves her injured and in the hands of Ivan Basileus -- and what hands they are. Ivan has wanted her from the first moment he got close to her. Now he has her, but can he keep her once he reveals all his secrets?

The story is well written and I enjoyed reading it. I liked that this is a story of the more old fashioned werewolves and not just shapeshifters. I was not very enamored of the hero at first, but found myself liking him in the end. I liked the heroine and wished for a longer format so I could have gotten to know both of them better. I was also sorry the getting-to-know period between Bri and Ivan was basically eliminated. I look forward to longer stories by Sherri about Ivan's pack mates.
