"Pussy cat, Pussy cat where do you roam? Far, far from home!"
Mara Armand has been contacted be a being from outer space.
As an empath, it is not all that surprising that a
telepathic race could make contact with her. It helps that
she heads the Armand Institute of Sensitives. The alien
first came to her in her dreams. Basically impersonal, this
meeting of the minds changed on the fifth night into
something much more sensual. Three months of these nightly visits have Mara anticipating
them for the sexual intimacy they bring. But this night
brings a change in the form of disaster to Sander's ship.
Now Sander is here on Earth and Mara sees her dream lover
for the first time. Though he is not human, she finds him
very attractive. Not everyone at the Institute is happy to
have Sander there, though. That unhappiness translates into
danger for Sander, Mara, and the Institute. LIONHEART is a fantastic science fiction romance. It
includes many of my favorite elements. Though I find it
hard to accept a truly alien hero, Sander is close enough
to human to definitely be one I wouldn't mind having
around. Mara is a strong, intelligent heroine. I loved Dr.
Antoon's accent. Plenty of sexual heat in this story,
so you may want to keep the ice water handy. Sensuality: R. Descriptive language; oral sex;
masturbation; descriptive sex.

SummaryMara Armand, director of a foundation for the protection
and study of humans with extrasensory abilities, has made
telepathic contact with an alien starship captain orbiting
the earth.
After weeks of nightly telepathic visits with Captain
Sander, Mara develops an intimate mental relationship with
her unseen alien lover. She experiences his need, his
passion, and his sensual touch, but it is a bittersweet
relationship for the laws of the Explorers forbid them to
ever meet.
An accident in space changes everything and Mara and Sander
are given the chance they never thought they'd have.
Threatened by World Federation troops from without and
jealous hatred from within, their survival now depends on
the strength of their bond and a ragtag army of young
Sensitives willing to risk their lives for an alien
starship captain.
