"Return to the world where "normal" is not normal"
Warning: This review contains what could be considered
spoilers for the previous(second) story in this series,
CHANGING THE ODDS. Solicitor Edmond Jarvish wasn't really sure why he had
taken on this new client. Faye Blaise was not the easiest
woman to work with, especially since she seemed to hold all
males in contempt. This is an attitude not unexpected in a
resident of Femmeland. But Faye arouses emotions in Edmond
he didn't think he was capable of feeling -- emotions only
deviants seemed to feel. Now he has her in his house and
the time of season has made leaving impossible -- and Faye
finds out some interesting things about Tierran men she'd
never imagined... In the meantime, Tory and Aric are preparing for their
departure to Earth. They need to find out what happened to
Amma. A change in plans that would leave Tory behind has
her scrambling to work out a way to go with Aric. Fans of the first two Deviant stories won't want to miss
this one. Though not quite as fast moving and a bit more
complicated than the former two, it is an excellent
addition to the series, although I didn't like it as much
as the first two. I would have preferred if it had
concentrated on just the two couples: Edmond and Faye, and
Tory and Aric. The relationship between Edmond and Faye
moves fast and is quite hot. I wish more time had been
spent with Tory and Aric and their travels. Still, I do
recommend this one and I also suggest these stories be read
in order. Sensuality: NC17. Descriptive sex; descriptive language;
oral sex; masturbation; minor spanking; suggestion of anal
sex; mild same gender sex.
