Awaking from an arousing night, Jenna is transported 100 years into the future to the home of a large, dangerously attractive alien, Garan, A Lion of Mirat, who has her chained naked to a bed. She quickly learns that Earth was invaded and is now ruled by The World Federation. Garan, as part of the Rebellion, thinks Jenna is a spy and sets out to learn her secrets.

Garan foolishly declares that he will break Jenna within two to three weeks. In a very short time, Jenna breaks Garan and he falls head over tail in love with a human. Garan opens her to the knowledge that she possesses mental powers that surpass anything that the New World has seen.

As the World Federation attacks with a machine that seeks to absorb the minds of the telekinetics, Garan leaps in front of the machine that is aimed at Jenna and saves her but in the process loses his thoughts and memories. After all hope for recovery is exhausted, Jenna takes Garan back to Mirat, his home planet. Together with his sister, but not his father, Jenna battles to mindlink with Garan and restore his mind and reality. As she has the power of love on her side, Garan is returned to himself and the human he loves.

Kate Douglas has her public totally engrossed in the alien species in her StarQuest series. The current playful, sexy, and amusing story only makes us pant for the next in the series. Around any cat now, I pay very close attention to their fascinating tails. You will too!!!!
