Tomorrow's Dawn

REVIEW

"Well-written erotica."

At fourteen, Becky Ferguson was diagnosed with cancer. For five years she fought for her life and won. During one stormy night she is awoken by a nightmare that turns out to be too real. She thinks her family has been killed during home invasion. Barely escaping with her life, she runs outside into a storm and escapes to the sea with only her life. Set adrift, she awakes on a deserted island that turns out not to be so deserted.

Lucien Moore finds what he at first thinks is a pile of rags but turns out to be Becky. She looks so young he believes her to be a child. Unsure what type of a man Lucien is, Becky doesn't tell him otherwise. As times goes on, they grow to love one another and he discovers that she's no child.

Tragedy strikes and they are soon separated. Becky is kidnapped and taken off of the island by a cruel and perverse man. Lucien leaves the island and goes in search of her. She awakens to find that she can't remember anything but an ache for a missing love. Lies keep them apart for awhile but eventually they find happiness again.

This book is well written, but I have to admit the part about Becky looking like a child was a bit of a hurdle for me. Lucien supposed to be in his 30's but he's attracted to and having sex with someone who he thinks is 16. As the book goes along, it does become apparent that she's not a child, but it was just a bit strange to me.

Note: The cover art from Zumaya Publications seems to be exceptional for e-books, but the PDF format is double column and can be a bit hard to read at times. The PDF format does allow for printing, but to me that defeats the purpose of buying an e-book.

Sexual Content: NC-17, graphic sex, piercing, rape, and anal sex.
