"Another great book about those sexy cats!"
It all began when Jenna rescued Lucky Louie from the
garbage -- he hadn't been very lucky for her co-worker, but
maybe it would bring her good fortune, or so she thought.
Except Lucky Louie had some tricks up his sleeve. After an
interesting night, Jenna awakens a prisoner. Her
captor is a huge, drool-worthy alien named Garan. Then she
finds out she's traveled through time -- she's in the
future! Jenna finds her heart in a society of rebels on futuristic
Earth, where psychic powers are commonplace and the lion-
like aliens from Mirat aid in the human's rebellion against
the dominating World Federation. Jenna and Garan's story was a fun -- and very sexy --
read. Douglas expands on the history of Future Earth and
takes the reader to Mirat for the first time, making it a
great continuation from the first book in the series
(LIONHEART). The hero is more of an alien than most others
in futuristic and fantasy romances, but Douglas again
manages to pull it off, making him seem a true catch. All
in all, NIGHT OF THE CAT is a warmly satisfying read that
leaves you purring in delight -- and best of all, we have
the promise that there will be another story in the series
some time in the future!
