"Enjoyable light read with romance, mystery, and excitement."
This book is a nice enjoyable read that keeps you from
wanting to put it down. It has romance and suspense with
just the right amount of mystery and excitement. Sharla, Dee, and Carlie are triplets. Their parents own an
Air Service and all the girls are pilots. Sharla loves her
plane and the freedom flying give her. There is no way she
is going to give this up. Dee has the ability to sense
feelings and emotions in her sisters, which proves to come
in very handy at times. Sharla meets Reed Connors, a handsome client who has
chartered her family's planes on many occasions. Reed is
a U.S. Marshall and lives a very dangerous life. He and
Sharla stir emotions in each other that they have never
felt before. All this surfaces when Reed hires Sharla to
fly him on a mission and they encounter an ice storm where
they have to land at an FBI safe house. Here, unable to
reach help, they find their true feelings for each other.
Gun shots are fired at the cabin and Sharla learns the true
meaning of fear and violence, something she has never
experienced before. Reed feels he cannot ask Sharla to share a life with him as
he is not able to have children and he loves his job too
much to give it up. He is shocked when he realizes that
Sharla wants the same thing too, she doesn't want him to
give up anything for her, just love her. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and I know you will,
too. It was a nice light read with just enough suspense to
keep me interested through to the end. I will look forward
to Dee's story (LOGAN'S LADY) when it comes out. Note: BORN TO FLY was originally published in July 1996 by
