"Incredible and delicious"
Review submitted by: Julie Elizabeth Leto Lord Damien Sinclair, nicknamed "Lord Sin" by the ton of
Regency London, is an expert at loving but has no concept
of true love. He loves his younger sister, Olivia, but
expressing that emotion is painfully difficult for a man of
his status and upbringing. When Olivia is seriously injured
because of the cruel actions of a foolish, selfish obleman,
Damien decides to exact revenge--no matter the cost. After the death of her husband, Vanessa Wyndham has little
to her name except for her love for her family--including
her foolish brother who caused the accident that left
Olivia Sinclair paralyzed. To save her brother and her
family from complete ruin, she agrees to become Olivia's
companion by day and Damien's love slave by night. Little
does she know that soon, she'll have Damien enslaved--not
by design, but because Vanessa is a strong woman with
honest desires and an endless capacity to love and forgive. Most long historicals like this one rely on external
onflict and complicated plots to drive the action, but not
THE SEDUCTION. The book is skillfully focused on the
relationships of the hero and the heroine--with each other
and with others--creating a truly character-driven delight.
Yes, there is a plot involving Olivia's illness, recovery
and the subsequent attempts at redemption by Vanessa's
brother, Aubrey, but the majority of the action is directly
tied to the growth and exploration of the characters of
Damien and Vanessa. Their journey held me captive...and
the sex? Nicole Jordan wove a perfectly erotic tale that
left me breathless! She skirts the edge with scenes such as one in what is
essentially, a Regency London sex club. Vanessa's sexual
awakening was written with a clear understanding that she
was not a virgin or a child--but a woman in the fullest
sense of the word. Lord Sin, for all his alpha-male faults,
is a tender man beneath his reputation and tough self-
image. Yes, he is a demanding lover, but Jordan never
allows the reader to forget that Vanessa has touched him
deeply and he would never hurt her. That inherent trust
raises the edgy sex scenes to a new level. Sensuality Guide: Incredibly, deliciously erotic, contains
sex toys For lovers of the truly erotic, I highly recommend this
book!
