Sean Lindstrom is a powerfully built man who resembles a modern day Viking. He's been a widower for years and celibate even longer. One afternoon at a bookstore he meets a woman unlike any other woman he's met before. Beth Nakamure is still getting over a broken engagement as well as losing a close friend on September 11th. She's not looking for anything long-term when she wanders into a bookstore to buy some erotica. One look at Sean and she finds herself drawn to him.

They both discover a common attraction and plan on a weekend together to explore their ultimate fantasies. He soon discovers that her deepest desire is to be involved with a switch, someone that can be both dominant and submissive, and he sets out to show her all that he can be.

I really enjoyed reading this story but it might be a bit too graphic for some. There are unusual sexual situations involving BDSM, as well as role playing and masturbation. The characters are well written and easy to care about. I'd recommend this for anyone looking for something a little outside the norm.
