REVIEW

"Paranormal futuristic romance - 2nd in a series."

Book 2 in the StarQuest series.

Is it possible to be transported in time to another planet 100 years in the future? This is just what happened to Jenna. Jenna is a normal career-minded girl alone in the world and wishing for a meaningful relationship. One evening after an unsuccessful date, she is curled up on her couch wondering just what is her life all about. As she ponders, she is rubbing a statue and getting unbelievable sensual sensations. She eventually falls asleep and wakes up 100 years later, strapped to a bed, naked and vulnerable.

The World as she knew it was gone, destroyed in an alien invasion. Was she dreaming? What the heck is going on?

The World Federation was once a good group of governing people who pulled Earth together after the invasion but had turned out to be a power hungry group wanting to dominate all worlds. Through the alien Garan, Jenna learned feelings she never knew existed, both physical and mental. Garan showed her how gifted she was telepathically and sexually. Jenna learned how to mindlink, how to move objects with her mind, and heal with her mind. This was put to the test on her lover Garan.

The World Federation sent in a machine in an attempt to bleed the minds of the telekinetics. They used polarized lenses to empty the minds of these people of the Rebellion. The machine emptied their minds but they remained alive. In an attack, Garan jumped in front of the machine as it was aimed at Jenna and as he saved her, he lost all that was in his brain. Jenna then took him to his planet to live out his days. With the help of Garan's sister and with the objection of his father, Jenna struggles to bring him back to reality.

Another good read, and open to yet further books that could be written.

Rated "NC-17/Hard R" by Ellora's Cave.
