REVIEW

"two great characters with hot action"

This was the second Blaze I've read and it certainly looks like the series is holding it's own with authors like these. Janelle Denison's writing is tight, she's drawn up two great characters with hot action, and I will say, yes, the limo scene was hot!

"Heat Waves" is the story of Erica, talk show host of the acclaimed "Heat Waves" nightly program where she discusses sexy issues with her callers. Ian Carlisle is a corporate CEO with a past he's trying to let go of, and when he tunes into "Heat Waves", he's captivated by Erica's voice. He develops an obsession with her that fuels him to call her program, further turning up the heat. Ratings for her show get hot despite the radio station's "mis" management and when Ian asks Erica out on a date on air, things only get hotter.

When they meet, the passion increases.

Denison's handling of the situation was tightly written, steamy, and erotic. It kept me on the edge of my seat, wanting more. The characters are complex, interesting and fun. I'd be interested in seeing a novel from Denison that featured her other two lovers in "Heat Waves"; I'm certain it'd be just as hot.

Summary

Erica knows first hand that you can hide a lot behind a microphone. Although she's made a reputation for discussing every aspect of sex on her radio talk show, she's never had to back it up . . . until a mysterious caller proves to be more irresistable in person. Their on-the-air chemistry sizzles and they heat up the airwaves debating any and all provocative issues possible. As the ratings soar, so does the sexual tension. But what will Ian do when he discovers that Erica isn't the sex expert she appears to be?
