"Telepathic alien love and adventure story"
Dr. Mara Armand is an empath who has been in telepathic
contact with an alien from another planet. Sander's people
explore planets telepathically without any actual physical
contact. As time goes on, the telepathic contact between
Mara and Sander becomes more personal. They never expected
to meet in person, but an accident in space leaves him no
choice but to go to Earth. There have been aliens on the
planet before and they proved to be Earth's enemies, so the
World Federation is understandably wary of this latest
alien. Mara has come to love Sander even before he lands on
her planet and they work together to gain peace. Generally I liked this book but I did have a bit of a
problem in the beginning with her accepting an alien (one
that actually looks like an alien) without even batting an
eye. The secondary characters and plot help to round out
this story. Sensuality: Borderline NC17: some unusual (alien) sexual
situations.
