REVIEW

"Erotic novella - Staid professor's walk on the wild side"

Dr. Kris Torrence is a staid professor at the local university when she decides to try something different for a change. Bemoaning her "old maid" status, she answers an ad looking for a submissive female to work at an exclusive gentlemen's resort on a private island. Little does she know that her nemesis, multi-millionaire Jack McKenna, is a friend of the owner and also a guest at the same resort.

Once at the resort, Jack finds himself attracted to an anonymous redhead, only to later learn that she is none other than Dr. Torrence. Jack's jealousy has him competing in several games for the privilege of playing sexual games with Kris. After a couple of days, there is a big auction of the new submissives. Outbidding another, he wins three days and nights of unrestrained sex with Krissy. During their time together, Krissy learns to drop her inhibitions and experience several different sexual adventures. They become closer and discover their feelings for each other but they never tell each other. Once they get back to their usual lives, they each pine for each other but their pride won't allow either to go crawling back. It doesn't take long before they are drawn to resolve their relationship.

This book is well-written and with characters you could care about, the dialog was not stilted. The plot moved along quickly and I read the whole book in one sitting. This book was very enjoyable and I would recommend it to others unless you are uncomfortable with unusual sexual situations.

Sensuality: NC17: -- graphic sex, some bondage, and explicit language.
