"Fun paranormal interracial romance with a refreshingly non-alpha -- and pregnant -- hero"
Kendall is just starting a week of vacation when she finds
Flame on her doorstep. Flame (who is, quite astonishingly,
male and pregnant) has fled from a planet where women rule
and men are little more than chattel. Kendall, a nurse, has
no thought but helping him. He gives birth to twins, and
then they all must hide from the team sent to track Flame
down and bring his daughter back. KEEPER OF THE FLAME is a neat book. Though we don't see the
culture he comes from, Flame is a refreshing hero -- he is
not a dominating alpha by any means! Kendall is a spirited
upbeat heroine who's fun to root for. The romance is soft
and their lovemaking is sensual rather than graphic. Flame
also has the ability to control the element of fire, which
makes for some very interesting scenes. The heroine is
black and hero white, so KEEPER OF THE FLAME is an
interracial romance, but it's never a problem or issue,
just a fact. KEEPER is a fun story that promises at least
two equally enjoyable sequels.

SummaryOut of this world...WAY out
Flame will do whatever it takes to protect his unborn
children, including flee the only home he's ever known, a
matriarchal planet where males have no rights and are kept
only as workers because of their huge size and as sexual
chattel for the same reason.
Oh baby
It was supposed to be her wedding day. Kendall never
expected to spend it helping a man give birth to twins! But
this gorgeous alien escapee has captured her heart. Now if
she can just keep him alive...
