"Love across, through, and around time"
TOUCH ME -- Louisa Trent CIA agent John Hawk, dying in the jungle, dreams of
Catherine. Catherine "witchy-woman" Covington knows why. He
is her intended, her receptor, their mating written in the
stars -- as it has been in times before. Now she must
convince the CIA she knows where he is so they can rescue
him, and then convince John that they are destined to share
the future. I liked the tormented hero in this one. I also liked
Catherine, but her explanations of her practices were a bit
tedious. The flashbacks were interesting and I know they
were important to this story, but I could have done without
them. Sensuality--NC17. Masturbation; crude and explicit
language; oral sex. A MAN CALLED LUST -- Stephanie Burke For a few hours each Valentine's Day, Sinopee escapes the
barrenness of the early 31st century and visits her fantasy
lover. Luster, whom Sinopee calls Lust, is a creature of
magic in this strange, though beautiful, world. Sinopee is
always drawn back to her dull existence at the end of her
visit, but this time things go dangerously wrong... Told in the first person. Excellent time-travel/science
fiction/fantasy. Makes you look at mirrors in an entirely
different way. Definitely wouldn't mind finding a hero like
Lust on the other side of mine! Sensuality--NC17. Oral sex; anal sex; masturbation with
accouterments. THE QUEST: HUNTER'S PASSION -- Marilyn Lee Her beloved husband Cody is dead, but not forgotten -- and
not to be forgotten. When he knew he would not recover from
his injuries, he promised to find a way to return. Four
years after he died, Jemi Hunter starts receiving letters
from him. When she follows the directions given in them,
she finds her love once again in a different time, a
different place. But is Cody truly 'her' love anymore? An interesting twist in the romance in this one. There is a
lot of opportunity for other stories centered in this world
with the secondary characters. A very good combining of
science fiction and erotic romance, though nor really my
cup of tea. Sensuality--NC17. Oral sex; explicit and crude language. Out of these three stories I liked "Touch Me" and "A Man
Called Lust" about equally. I do think "A Man Called Lust"
could have benefited from a longer format, where there
could have been more detail given. As for "The Quest", the
whole premise for it was not really to my liking. I really
prefer my hero to be much more human in appearance. Plus
this one had much more oral sex than I care for.
