"Whimsical Paranormal Romance"
Maggie is a cat. She doesn't want to be though. She's in
love with her master, Nicholas and wants to be a woman so
he will love her like she loves him. Maggie goes to Old
Tom, the wise one-eyed cat and tells him her wish. Old Tom
grants her wish and gives her until All Hallow's Eve for
Nick to tell her he loves her. If he doesn't, she turns
back
into a cat forever. There's another catch also. Maggie is
a
cat by day and a human by night. This seriously cuts down
on the time that Maggie has to get Nick to admit that he
loves her. Nicholas has his whole life planned right down to the woman
he's going to marry. He is about to be made partner in the
law firm where he works and his fiancee is his biggest
client's daughter. Nick works hard because he doesn't want
his sister Deena to want for anything. He remembers how
hard
it was when their parents died and how he almost lost
custody of Deena. He also thinks Deena is fragile because
she talked to fairies when she was
little. Maggie shows up at Nick's door one evening naked as a
jaybird. Nick is so surprised that he runs to his best
friend Hoop's house. Hoop thinks Nick is crazy. He would
never have left a beautiful naked woman alone but then
again he's nothing like Nick. Maybe that's why they are and
have been best friends for years. This is one book that I could not put down. I thoroughly
enjoyed reading every page and couldn't wait to find out
how this book ended. I predict Julie Kenner will go far in
her writing career and I look forward to her next book.

Werecat in reverse: A cat takes on human form.
Interesting fact:
Did you know that Hoop and Deena (who first appear in The
Cat's Fancy) appear in all of the Aphrodite novels?
SummaryGet ready for ...
The Cat's Meow -- Straight-laced Nicholas Goodman's life
was going just fine. A hotshot attorney in a huge law firm,
Nick had money, success, and a girlfriend whose father just
happened to be his biggest client. All the aspects of his
life were tucked neatly into nice little corners, just the
way Nick liked it. Until he opened his door and found a
completely naked, slightly befuddled, green-eyed beauty on
his doorstep.
A Woman's Wish -- Maggie had found the man of her dreams--
Nick Goodman. He was smart, sexy, and she knew he loved
her. Maggie's only problem was ... well, she wasn't
entirely human. But Maggie was determined, and through the
power of love she was given a chance--and a lithe woman's
body. She had one week to convince Nicholas to admit that
he loved her. One week to prove that a guy like Nick could
fall for "a girl like Maggie." One week to prove that a
cat's fancy could be the love of a lifetime.
