REVIEW

"Deeply compelling and highly sensual!!"

Marco Bellini has everything a man could ever want - wealth, success, good health and a sinfully sensuous woman as his mistress. Antonia answers his every craving, meets his every need and satisfies his very soul. His life is perfect except for the nagging thought of his father's ill health and Marco's duty to produce an heir. He knows soon he must choose a suitable bride, someone who is worthy of being the mother of the next Bellini generation, heirs to their tremendous fortune. However, the only woman Marco wants by his side is his mistress and men like him don't marry women like Antonia.

Antonia Carson is a woman of many secrets. She's loved Marco ever since she met him a year ago but she has no illusions about the future. Marco never promised her one anyway. Perhaps that's why she has never revealed so many truths about herself to him; never let him see into her soul.

Michelle Reid's THE BELLINI BRIDE is Harlequin Presents at it's most compelling, sensual best. Strong sizzling sexual chemistry and toe-curling romance will have readers completely enthralled from the moment they start reading.

Ms. Reid has woven a wonderfully touching story that portrays unforgettable characters and deep emotion that cushions the heart like a warm blanket. Marco and Antonia are a perfectly matched couple with an intense attraction that snaps and crackles with exciting energy each time they interact. The novel has plenty of compelling moments but one that particularly stood out in my mind was when Marco arrives home to find Antonia gone ... and he walks into the bedroom and finds on the bed what she has left behind. Wow. How I loved to see this arrogant, wickedly sexy charmer stumble and come to his knees when confronted with his true feelings for Antonia. Excellently crafted scene - puts the reader 'right there' with the character!

Ms. Reid also did an excellent job of portraying Antonia's character and her inner conflict quite vividly. Marco and Antonia together are a pair who won't be easily forgotten. THE BELLINI BRIDE is a romance that will live in your heart long after you've turned the last page. It's a winner!
