REVIEW

"Unforgettable! Will definitely tug your heart strings..."

Rebecca Martinson is a successful attorney practicing family law. Dedicated to her job, she has worked her way up to being a junior partner in the law firm of Denison, Ross and Furnari. Her world is turned upside down the day Sam Winslow walks into her office and asks her to help save the life of his adopted daughter, Melanie -- the baby Rebecca gave up fourteen years ago. Despite all her experience as a lawyer specializing in family law and her logic telling her not to get involved, Rebecca finds herself bargaining for a lot more than just donating bone marrow to save her daughter. However, there are secrets in Rebecca's past that must remain hidden or they could end up hurting the people she loves.

Sam Winslow is a desperate man who will do anything to save his adopted daughter's life -- even if it means contacting the birth mother and asking for her help. When he walks into Rebecca's office, he's expecting to find a hard woman who most likely won't give her help easily. Instead he finds a green eyed beauty with hair as dark as a raven's wing who raises the same protective instincts he feels for his daughter. Sam gives in to Rebecca's terms and takes her back to North Dakota to spend some time getting to know Melanie but he isn't prepared for the fact that she would soon become a permanent resident in his heart. Despite their strong feelings for each other, secrets from the past threaten their future. Can Sam and Rebecca overcome these barriers with the power of their love? Can Rebecca ever hope to be a real mother to Melanie?

Jamie Denton is like fine wine. She gets better with every book she writes. THE BIOLOGICAL BOND is testimony to this fact. Sam and Rebecca's story is a beautifully penned, tender romance that will warm your heart. Enchanting characters, poignant emotions, enduring love and turbulent conflict all combine to make THE BIOLOGICAL BOND an unforgettable tale.

Rebecca is a strong character who has always tried to please her own father but failed dismally. When she sees the love and respect Sam and Melanie share, she's convinced she made the right decision all those years ago. My heart went out to her. The circumstances she faced, the choices that were made, the hurt and bruised emotions she has carried deep inside her heart, none of that can be easily faced by any woman. Rebecca's character faced them and dealt with them beautifully. I was cheering for her right to the end.

Sam was a wonderfully defined character too. Very easy to fall in love with. A man who will do anything to save the life of his little girl, even if she is adopted. The love and fierce protectiveness he displayed for Melanie make him excellent father material. Aside from his paternal qualities, he's really good at creating a lot of steamy heat with Rebecca too! I enjoyed watching these two sparring together. Sam Winslow is definitely all man -- with an extra helping of tenderness and macho-ness!

Jamie Denton's THE BIOLOGICAL BOND is a beautiful and entertaining romance full of heartfelt emotions and definitely worth reading. I highly recommend THE BIOLOGICAL BOND. This one's a keeper!
