"A dark and delicious gothic with a touch of paranormal!"
The Palazzo dela Morte is cursed! Even though
Nicoletta knows this, she has been summoned to save
someone who is dying with her healing hands. Sophie,
the six year old niece to Don Giovanni has been
poisoned as has the Don, and Nicoletta must save
them both, but at what expense to herself? Will she be
condemned or condoned? She cares only to save
those who need her help and draws people to her like
a magnet with her love and tender regard for all that life
holds near and dear. Don Giovanni recognizes Nicoletta for what she is...his
true love...which he's tried to deny needing all of his
life because the lives of the Scarletti women seem to be
cursed and an untimely death results. Giovanni knows
he cannot resist the all consuming call of the heart and
insists on marriage to the young healer and brings her
to his dark and forbidding palazzo. His only desire is to
protect Nicoletta at all cost and he can feel her fears
and is constantly aware of her at all times. Together, Nicoletta and Giovanni must overcome the
curse and prove it false or risk their future and any
happiness they may have a chance of finding as they
share a love that will endure! Ms. Feehan has stepped out of her "norm" and created
a Gothic that is both riveting and spell-binding with a
touch of the paranormal. The characters in this book
held me on the edge of my seat the whole time I read it.
If you've enjoyed Ms. Feehan's previous novels, you will
surely be captivated by this one...Ms. Feehan once
again takes pen in hand and captivates her fans!!
