"Eight stories of magical healing"
For Sensual Romance by A. Black
The magic of love plays out in eight historical and
futuristic stories,
each with a common element--a magic needle created by the
Fates.
Between Heaven and Hell by Katherine Greyle
Britain, 450 A.D., is the setting for this story of the
afterlife of two
of King Arthur's knights. Sir Kyner and Sir Nascien die and
meet the
beautiful Galiene who leads them through Avalon on a quest
for a true
treasure.
Eye of the Beholder by Candice Kohl
England, 12th century is where the lovely Grace of Oxley
helps an
injured man, Sir Cedric of Wotsfield. Grace befriends Cedric
and soon
discovers his unpopular history.
The Christening Gown by Judie Hershner
Widower Jonathan Hanley finds it difficult to be a father to
his baby
daughter after loosing her mother. But the baby's nanny,
Faith, has a
mission to change his mind. This story is set in
17th-century America.
All that Glitters by Bonnie Hamre
Newlyweds Rosie and Thomas Jennings travel the Oregon Trail
toward a
new life together. Along the way they are beset by hardships
that test
their new love.
The Golden Hour by Lucy Grijalva
Marlene MacDonald won't allow herself to love again after
losing her
first love in a war. Her friend Jack Doretta tries to break
through
Marlene's protective cover and show her how good love can be
the second
time around.
Ebony and Ivory by Anita Lynn
When racially mixed couple Ruby and Mark Dollar married,
they agreed
not to have children. They did not want to raise children
in the
negative racial climate of 1950s California. When Ruby
discovers that
she is pregnant, Mark is not happy about it. Can Ruby change
his mind?
Sleepless Beauty by Marilyn Byerly
Gates Longstreet is treated for insomnia at a special sleep
clinic that
uses fractured fairy-tales to uncover subconscious reasons
for
sleeplessness. Set in the 21st century this virtual reality
tale tells
of technology used in dream therapy.
The Homecoming by Alice Gaines Chambers
Earth in the 26th century is barely inhabitable. Garth
Millerson wants
to move to a new planet, but his wife Alana refuses out of
fear it will
be worse than Earth. Can their marriage survive their
dramatically
opposed beliefs?
The stories in this anthology are all well written and cover
a range of
genres. I like anthologies that are tied together with a
common theme.
I liked the stories in this book, and I'm sure other readers
will too.

SummaryWhen all seems lost and mere mortals despair, love
sometimes needs a gentle hand to guide it...
The hand of fate delivers a magical gift: a needle made
of
gold, designed to last through the ages. From woman to
woman, it passes through generations, mending hearts as
well as cloth. Watch as a fair lady imprisoned on Avalon
heals one of Arthur's knights—and in doing so frees them
both to find the happiness they crave. Travel the early
American plains beside a frightened young bride as she
mends her new husband's shirts—and searches for the
pioneering spirit she needs to be his helpmate. Flit
through a virtual reality of fairy tales with a bewildered
young executive who's looking for a sedative—but who finds
her Prince Charming, instead.
Through centuries and against the odds, the golden needle
weaves a tapestry rich in laughter and tears as it
restores
hope, inspires faith, and sews the seeds of love in every
woman whose life it touches. Meet the women and their
heroes...and smile as fate takes a hand in making
their
dreams come true.
