REVIEW

"Desperate to avenge her family, a woman makes a bargain with a vampire. She never expected love."

For Sensual Romance by A. Black

When Savannah Daniels seeks revenge on the the vampire responsible for her brother's death, she develops a plan to ensure her success. With a terminal brain tumor, she knows she cannot hunt the demon as a human so she seeks to become a vampire. Her extensive research leads her to the one man who can help her with her quest -- the handsome and sexy William Dark.

William has lived for more than a 1,000 years without a companion and he is instantly smitten with Savannah. When the delicate, red-haired beauty boldly offers to be his life companion if he will help her extract revenge for her murdered brother, he refuses. But Savannah has a trump card that will force William to play in her deadly game of cat-n-mouse with a notoriously dangerous vampire.

The premise of this story is intriguing, and the characters are interesting, but I found the pacing somewhat slow given its length (200 pages). I would have liked to read more details about this vampire world and get a better feel for the characters. The twist at the end was nice but unexpected. I think most readers will find this book interesting.
