Serena Wilde is a werewolf who is about to enter her annual heat cycle. She has planned to take a vacation away from the wolf preserve where she works to avoid contact with her boss, Dr. Kearnan Gray. Serena is attracted to Kearnan, so she avoids close contact with him. Serena also has other secrets, like the fact that she's a werewolf in hiding from her pack in order to avoid a forced mating. She is unaware that Kearnan already knows her most guarded secret-- that she's a wolf about to go into heat.

Kearnan is a wolf expert and werewolf who runs the wildlife nature preserve. He sets up a meeting with Serena about a new breeding program and insists that she attend before she starts her vacation. What Kearnan really wants is to postpone Serena's vacation because he knows she will be in heat, and he has plans for her.

I love werewolf stories and this one is no exception. The characters are well developed, the plot is good, and the sex is steamy. Readers will enjoy this story.

Summary

Serena Wilde was anything but serene. The full moon was tonight. She had to get away, or she'd be far wilder than her sexy boss could ever anticipate. Why in the world did he have to demand that she show up for a meeting about a new breeding program now? Dr. Kearnan Gray might be an expert on wolves, but he didn't know a damn thing about werewolves, especially one that was about to come into heat.
