"Fae meets the modern world in this sensual thriller"
For Sensual Romance by A. Black
Mythology professor Leanan Murphy is angry that someone
torched the warehouse
where her important exhibit artifacts were stored. The
building, along with its
contents have been destroyed and it is the third fire in
which the same arsonist
is a suspect. One of the previous fires resulted in a death.
The arsonist must
be caught before another person is killed and another
building is destroyed.
Arson specialist Aidan Hughes has a sixth sense about fires
and is assigned to
investigate the recent building fires. Aidan is a Fae of the
Salamander (fire)
clan who wants to serve the Moira and help humans -- until
he meets Leanan. What
he discovers is an attraction so strong he must make a
choice between the women
he loves and his Fae clan and country.
This is a good romantic story with a nice hint of myth and a
touch of magic. The
plot was predictable, but I enjoyed the story. I hope Ms.
Ramsey plans to write
more Fae stories set in Leanan's and Aidan's world.

SummaryAidan Hughes isn't your average firefighter. He's Fae,
member of the mystical tribe traditionally assigned wings
and fairy dust. Sent into the Outer World by a messenger of
fate, ten years later he utilizes his unique clan
'signature', that of fire, to hunt down the wiliest of
arsonists.
As a professor of Mythology at San Diego State University,
Leanan Murphy knows all about the Fae. Named for the Fairy
Mistress of Ireland, she's grown up on their stories.
When she and Aidan are brought together by a suspicious
blaze, the daughter of the sea and the spirit of fire create
unlikely sparks of their own.
But there's more than meets the eye when it comes to this
particular arsonist, and the agenda he and others like him
are determined to see through.
