REVIEW

"After the day from hell, her life goes from bad to worse"

Alissa O'Malley recently lost her job, was evicted from her home, and wrecked her car. And just when she thinks things can't get any worse, she discovers some pretty creepy beings are after her because she's the key to breaking a century-old family curse that involves gypsies and werewolves.

Stephen Lovare is a vyusher (werewolf) whose family blood line has been cursed by a chovihani -- a powerful, evil witch. He knows Alissa is the key to breaking his curse, and she is also his soul mate. He first introduces himself to Alissa in her dreams and later rescues her from an attach by a pack of wolves. When he tells Alissa that she is his chosen mate and that he wants to protect her, she's not convinced, but she knows she'll have to trust Stephen if she wants to survive.

This is another great story from Ms. Anderson. Her plotting, character development, and dialogue skills are excellent -- as well as the hot sex scenes. The host of background characters are so intriguing that they bring this sexy paranormal story to life. Other than the hero and heroine, my favorite secondary characters were Alissa's elderly grandmother who clings to her old-fashioned southern ways, and the evil witch who was quite adept at exercising her skills to avoid a driving violation ticket. This story is sure to draw the reader in and take her on a thrill ride.

Summary

Alissa O'Malley is having a rough twenty-fifth birthday. She get an eviction notice on her apartment, gets into a car wreck and loses her job, all on the same day. But as bad as her life is, it's only going to get worse. At a mortifying birthday dinner with her politically incorrect Grandmother, she gets bitten by a hyperactive Pomeranian that's been 'infected' by a run-in with a wolf. That's when things really start to gets weird.

Alissa's normally straight and lifeless hair starts curling, her eyes change color and she develops a taste for raw meat. Strangest of all are the reoccurring dreams of a tall, dark man with a scarred face who is chained to a wall with silver manacles. He tells her that he is her heart-mate and he will be coming for her soon.

Before she knows it, Alissa is involved in a life and death struggle involving werewolves, witches, generational curses, magical silver earrings, and a hot sexual biting ceremony that will bind her to the man of her dreams and his strange life forever.

Can she handle the strain of becoming a completely different person? Or will her life change forever after she spends one night under the Gypsy Moon?
