Captain Chilly Winthrop leads an all-male squad of soldiers. When fellow captain Mitch Right is captured by the enemy Coplons, he must be rescued or killed to avoid revealing important information under torture. Chilly is the best person suited for the job of infiltrating the enemy camp, because prostitutes are the only people allowed to walk freely within the camp. Her mission requires contact with an undercover officer already posing as a Coplon soldier -- Foster Mallory. In order to find out where they're holding Right she must locate Mallory while playing the role of a prostitute. Chilly will also have to perform sexual acts with Mallory in front of Coplons in order to convince them she is truly a prostitute.

When Foster Mallory received word that a new undercover agent would be joining him he had no idea who it would be. When he discovered it was Chilly, the wife of his rival, he was shocked -- especially because he had always loved her and knows he will have to openly perform sexually with her in order to maintain their cover.

This is another action-packed story from Ms. Wyndfield. Her talent for writing well-plotted stories with strong female characters is a true gift. The only disappointment is that it's a short story.

Summary

Chilly Winthrop is a Free Federation soldier, but now the higher-ups order her to infiltrate the enemy Coplon camp posing as a prostitute. Her mission -- rescue a captured comrade before the Coplon's torture vital Free Federation information out of him. Her contact -- Federation spy Foster Mallory. She knew him before her life turn upside down, before her marriage failed and everyone learned of her flaw. But now, with their lives on the line, she falls for Foster hard and fast. Will he still want her when he finds out she's damaged goods?

To Foster Mallory there's nothing wrong with Chilly Winthrop. He'll take her any way he can have her. When she shows up in the Coplon's camp, his desire borders on insanity. Especially now that her marriage is over. But first, they have to make it through this mission alive, and the odds of that are stacked against them as their plan begins to unravel.
