PERSONAL ASSETS is a story of two best friends, one who is discovering herself professionally and the other, sexually. Bea, the daughter of a Joan Crawford-like fashion CEO of high-end boutique chain, who is secretly in love with her stepfather is sexually unawakened. Lela, a wild party girl, who has done it all, wants to have a new career running the New York store. Through both of their journeys of discovery they have lots of wild, wonderful sex. In the end, due to Lela's lover buying Bea's fashion chain, both journeys end successfully.

The best line in the book? After making love, Lela ..hid her face against his chest and drew a shaky breath. "Be my family," she said, low and shy. "Be my home."

Holly has two great strengths: great sex and wonderful sentimental stories--who ever thought that those two could be successfully combined???
