REVIEW

"An Exhilarating Sexy Ride"

Susan Johnson delivers another steamy historical romance with SEDUCTION IN MIND. Set in London in the late nineteenth century, this is your typical Johnson book. Viscount Samuel Ranelagh is a libertine of the highest order. He sees a nude painting and wishes to discover who posed for it - to make her yet another of his many conquests. Alexandra Ionides is a bohemian - the daughter of traditional Greek parents, she has been married twice to older men outside of the Greek community and is now an artist. She also poses nude for other artists.

The book is definately character driven, as plot is scanty at best. Basically, Ranelagh does his best to seduce Alex, they have sex many, many times, and they must thwart parents, scheming mistresses, etc. in order to stay together. While this is a typical Johnson book, it does not fail to deliver an exhilarating journey. Of course, be sure to expect lots of sex and extremely frank language.

As always, Johnson delivers a fun and sexy book. And though the book may not be heavy on plot, her research and details are, as always, thorough. And may she be highly commended as the only author I know who footnotes! So if you're in the mood for an extremely sexy romp, be sure to pick up SEDUCTION IN MIND!
