"Sexy futuristic short story"

In the year 5006, the Earth's atmosphere has been destroyed by nuclear weapons, and STDs are so prevalent that a woman's sexuality is controlled.

The land has been divided into sectors. Tennae lives a privileged life in Sector Seven. Tennae and other unmarried women must wear chastity belts. Their virtue is closely guarded by the Virgin Watchers who ensure that she and others like her wait till they marry to enjoy carnal pleasures. However, while the women are forced to save themselves, men like Tennae's fiancé Karn enjoy the sexual pleasure of other women, and risk endangering the lives of their soon-to-be wives.

Although Tennae has experienced love play with Karn, she has never gone "all the way". Just before they are to be married she is kidnapped by Hector, a warrior from Sector One. He hopes to marry her and have children to ensure that his sector does not die out. At first Tennae can only think of her fiancé Karn, but as Hector awakens passions she has never known, her icy exterior melts and her love for Hector blossoms.

But Tennae keeps her hope of retuning home, even though Hector tries to convince her that her fiancé and the other men in Sector Seven have been untrue and are spreading disease throughout her sector. Tennae does not believe him and when Karn rescues her, she returns home only to discover that everything Hector told her is true. What will Tennae do to save her people and return to her true love?

I liked the sexual responsibility woven into this plot. It's a good story and is well written. Readers will enjoy this quickie.

Summary

A new people emerged from the dark clouds of nuclear dust that filled the earth's atmosphere. Sweet, sensuous Tennae belongs to the elite group of Sector Seven's beautiful young virgins who wait happily for their wedding day. But the guarded secrets of her betrothed and her many countrymen hang ominously on the horizon.

Handsome and willful Hector, from an outlying Sector, decides that Tennae will be his for all time. He storms into her life and steals her away to his homeland. Even though Tennae insists she is in love with her fiancé Karn, she quickly discovers she is powerless against the sensual inner wanton that Hector has awakened with his heated kisses and passionate overtures.

When she is torn from Hector's arms, it is then Tennae discovers the true love she had fleetingly held in her hand.
