"Paranormal romantic suspense - who can you trust?"

In the year 2015 in Las Vegas, Holly Heart, professor at a university medical institute, quite literally ran into Mason Alexander on the university campus. Mason instantly experienced overwhelming feelings that he had not felt in several years. Holly was not unaffected after their run-in, experiencing a sexual awareness that she had given up on long ago. Holly, continuing her father's medical experiments, is working to convince the government to approve genetic therapy, as poorly managed genetic replacement treatments in the past had caused numerous mentally unstable people. A government representative wants her to assist in solving existing problems with its program to build a league of super soldiers, a program Holly is adamantly opposed to, just as her father had been.

It turns out that Mason is one of those super soldiers and his running into Holly was no accident. Mason and his friend, Sterling, are out to protect Holly from the Arions, rogues who have their own agenda for her, dead or alive.

Readers are often left to question whether Mason will be successful at protecting Holly, wondering who of the many secondary characters can be trusted, and most of all, will Holly find it in her heart to love and accept Mason for who and what he really is.

This story has many twists and turns and readers are kept on their toes at all times. There are touches in this book that will be pleasing to many readers, whether fans of futuristic, paranormal, suspense, or romance genres. It is a well-rounded, suspenseful story with wonderful attention to detail and just enough sensuality to satisfy romantic suspense fans. The characters are entertaining, bright, and extremely likable; secondary characters demand their own stories and I am very pleased to know that Ms. Jones is working on book two! I highly recommend this book.

Summary
