REVIEW

"A wonderful ending to a wonderful series!"

A gifted psychic, Jamie Creed is used to hiding out from people, keeping to himself in his mountainside cabin and trying not to get too involved with the townspeople of Visitation, North Carolina. At the same time, he can't help but use his psychic visions to help the residents of Visitation resolve their troubles. But this time Jamie knows that trouble is heading his way fast. Going out into the storm to meet trouble head on, he finds a woman, soaked from head to toe and about to collapse from exhaustion.

Faith Owen has been searching for Jamie because she needs his help. But he's suspicious of her because she knows too much about him and she isn't telling him the whole truth about her motives. Why should he trust her? How did she know where to find him? Jamie decides it's best for Faith to stay in his cabin with him until he can get to the bottom of what Faith is hiding. Someone menacing has also come to Visitation in hopes of luring Jamie out of hiding. Will Jamie be able to figure out who the real threat is before it's too late?

I didn't want to put this down! I couldn't wait to turn each page to find out more about the mysterious and oh-so- sexy Jamie Creed. From reading the previous books in this series, I knew Jamie's story was going to be good and I was not disappointed! A little bit sweet and a lot sexy, Jamie is a man who knows how to take care of himself, but he is also in need of a good woman to love him. He'd been betrayed in the past and alone for so long. It was wonderful to see Jamie move from being the town recluse to a man who wanted to open himself back up and accept help from others. Ms. Foster did a great job at keeping the reader guessing about who was looking for Jamie and causing so much trouble in town.

I laughed out loud at some of the comments that Faith and some of the secondary characters made to Jamie. It was fun to see Jamie get a little bit out of control, not knowing what to think of Faith. I think the author kicked the sexual tension up a notch in this book! The chemistry between Jamie and Faith is really sizzling. Lori Foster really knows how to write sensual, intense and very sexy love scenes! I absolutely loved the secondary romance between Deputy Scott Royal and Alyx Winston. Readers have seen glimpses of their encounters in previous books, but it was wonderful to finally see the chemistry close up! I was very happy to see their romance wrapped up in this book. This is a must-read book for fans of Lori Foster and a very satisfying end to the Visitation series.

Although this book can be read as a stand alone, I'd recommend reading the other books in the series since Jamie shows up in all of the previous books.
